Some of my favourite brown eyeshadows!

I am not the most adventurous when it comes to doing my make up really. I tend to stick to the same eye colours.... browns!!
I have managed to build up quite a collection of different brown eyeshadows.

Browns are just such and easy colour to wear, I think. I don't have to make too much effort and my eyeshadow looks great.
I do try to do different looks and colours but I always go back to my old faithful browns!

Here are some of my favs!

Left to right -
MUA Shade 17, MUA Eye Dust Shade 5,
ELF Butternut (it is the one on the top right hand corner)
MAC Paints Untitled

The 2 MUA products are my current go to shadows, I use them all the time. I put shade 17 all over my lid and then blend the eye dust into the crease. It creates a really natural everyday look.
I think for the price that MUA are great products!
Over my UDPP they both last all day without creasing and look just as great when I go to take them off as they do when I put them on.

Do you have a favourite colour for your eyes??

My Lipstick Collection and Swatches

Today I thought I would share with you my ever growing collection of lipsticks!

I do have a couple others that I seem to have lost!
Up until about a year ago I was very much a lipgloss girl and thought that lipsticks were for old ladies and owned none. What a difference a year can make! I now have some what of a lipstick obsession. I do still wear my lipglosses now and again but I am now a convert lipstick lover!

The Pinks!
Left to right -
NYX Femme, NYX Jupiter NYX Strawberry Milk, Barry M 100, Rimmel Pink Blush, MUA Shade 4, MAC Viva Glam, MAC Victorian

The Nudes!

Left to right -
Natural Collection Lotus, Natural Collection Apple Blossom, NYX Orange Soda, MAC The Fairie Glen, MAC Peachstock, Barry M 101

And the rest!
Left to right -
Stila Tina, 17 Belle, 17 Cookie, Revlon Plum, NYX Margarita

I also have 17 Beehive which is probably my most used lipstick. I seems to have been swallowed up by the pit that is my bag though!

I have a funny feeling that my little collection will just keep growing and growing!

What are you favourite lipsticks??

Small Haul To Cheer Me Up

I've been feeling a bit rubbish the past couple of days so I thought a wee trip into town was in order to try cheer myself up. I was really wanting to try get my hands on one of the Nail Inc. and Diet Coke nail polishes too.
And I was successful!
When I went into Boots there was a whole shelf in the chiller devoted to Diet Coke, but it was empty! I thought I was out of luck so decided to settle for some flavoured water (go for the healthy option and all that) but when I got tills there was a little stand alone stand with some bottles and some nail polishes!! I quickly snapped up 2 bottles of coke and the New York polish, which was the 1 I'd had my eye on. I also picked up a copy of there magazine that's free to advantage card holders.

Then I went to Superdrug, I wanted to get 1 of the Sleek palettes and see if they had re-stocked their MUA stands. Once again I was in luck! I picked myself up a nice green MUA eyeshadow cause I'm wanting to try some green eye looks out. I also got the Sleek original palette and a Pink Cadillac pout polish. These are my first 2 Sleek purchases so I cant wait to use them! I also got a set of N.Y.C false eyelashes and a nail polish cause they were 2 for £3. And once again I picked up their free magazine.

Seen as I was feeling a bit down I decided that some chocolate was in order so I popped into the pound shop to see what they had. I picked up 2 big bars of Cadbury's caramel (I was once told 1 was never enough so always buy 2) and a Toblerone. More than enough to satisfied my chocolate cravings and cheer me up!
When I was in Adsa later doing a bit of shopping with my Mum I noticed that this weeks More magazine had been rolled back to only 80p. Bargain! So had to pick one of those bad boys up too!

NOTD - MUA Shade 5

Im loving this colour just now! It took 3 coats to get a similar colour to the bottle but it went on really well and dried very quickly. Im impressed for a nail varnish that only costs £1, it's lasting really well.

MUA Range Haul

I've been eagerly waiting on my package from Superdrug with the stuff i ordered from their MUA range. I was very excited about the range coming out which was launched in stores yesterday but had been available online since Tuesday. I decided to order some things online cause I wasn't 100% sure if my local store would carry the range. So it arrived this morning!

From top to bottom, left to right -
Eye Dust in shade 5
Eye Shadow in shade 17 matt
Eye Shadow in shade 19 matt
Blusher in shade 3
Nail Varnish in shade 4
Nail Varnish in shade 5
Nail Varnish in shade 1
Lipstick in shade 4
Mascara in shade 5
Liquid Eyeliner in shade5 (not in the picture but the eyeliner is black)

(You might have noticed that the stuff doesn't have names they have shades)

So far I've used the eye shadows, eye dust, lipstick, eyeliner and mascara. I liked using all the products apart from the mascara. The first thing i noticed about it was that the brush was a lot smaller than my other mascara so I wasn't really sure about it. Then when i went to put the wand back into the tube it was really stiff and i had to push quite hard to get it back in. I also felt that it didn't really give me a lot of coverage on my lashes. I was unsure about using the eyeliner as well cause it's not a brush, its a hard sponge thingy (yup, that's the technical term for it) but once I started using it the end was quite soft and it went on OK.

I love the lipstick though, its a gorgeous pink colour! It goes on really well and has a nice creamy texture.

(It looks more pink than it does in the picture)

I think this is a great range, especially for the price and i will definitely be buying more from it! You cant really go wrong for a pound!
